Lived Experience:
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
I have now been living with this diagnosis for over 11 years. I have good days where my pain is manageable and other days where it can be debilitating, and the thought of doing anything seems impossible.
My diagnosis impacts my daily life on varying levels, but it is also a great reminder that I am able to be the voice for someone who is unable to advocate for themselves, the ears for someone who needs to talk to a caring person, and a theoretical shoulder for someone to lean on.
This diagnosis is the reason I work in this industry.
